Associations. He stands 14.3 hh, is dark chocolate with
flaxen mane and tail and is available for breeding to
certified Rocky Mountain and Kentucky Mountain Saddle mares. |

Rising Star is an own son of Rocky Mountain Foundation
Stallion 'Yankee (Ragtime)' he was born in May of 1993, he
is use to being in the pasture with his mares and foals and
has an unbelievable gentle temperament. He is an excellent
trail/pleasure horse. Will go anywhere do anything. He
passes on to his offspring his puppy dog temperament,
gorgeous head, and naturally smooth four beat gait.
Yankee's Rising Star has been in Oregon
since he was a 3 year old, he was shown in the UMH Northwest
Region and was High Point Trail Pleasure Champion, We are
looking forward to showing him in the coming show seasons in
the UMH Northeast region. We are very honored to own such a
fine stallion with all the characteristics important to the
Mountain Horse.

Not Sire A Sorrel Or Chestnut Offspring. He Is A Perfect

Beat Gait That He Passes Onto His Offspring Consistently.

Toco's Recovery After His Accident This Past January (2007),
He Spent 6 Months At Serenity Equine In Virginia Where They
Specialized In Treating Laminitis, We Are Very Thankful For
His Progress and Expect A FULL Recovery..
For Those Who Weren't Aware Toco Got Hung Up In A Coated
Wire Fence Which Cut Off Circulation As Well As Temporarily
Damaged The Nerve. The Long And Short Of It Is He Had A Very
Very Bad Case Of Laminitis Caused By The Loss Of Blood
Supply During His Entanglement, But Thanks To Serenity
Equine and Their Knowledge of Laminitis, He Is Home And
Doing GREAT And We Expect To Breed A Limited Number Of Mares
In 2008
Let Me Also Mention The Supposed SAFE Plastic Coated Wire
That We Had In The Back Of Our Property Has Now Been
Replaced With Four Board Fence.. |
